ExcitC2 is a code that computes the excitation of a C2 molecule in astrophysical conditions.
This is the code used in Le Bourlot et al. (2025), Astronomy and Astrophysics. It computes the steady state excitation of C2 for a given set of temperature, density, radiation field intensity and chemical formation excitation rate. Radiaitive pumping and cascades are included for electronically accessible states. Intercombination transitions are accounted for.
